 Full-time Farmhand

  • April through November (Thanksgiving)

  • 5 days per week 

  • Spring & Fall Hours: 10am-4pm, weather depending

  • Summer hours: 9am-5pm, weather depending

  • $15-$18/hr+

Full-time farmhands are expected to follow the plans set forth by the farm manager and to be efficient with their time. This job is physically demanding and, as long as it’s safe, we work in all weather conditions. That being said, you’ll never be asked to do something that management isn’t willing to do themselves. In the circumstances that the farm manager is unable to be on farm, full-time farmhands are expected to take the lead and maintain the farm as necessary until the manager’s return.

This job entails:

  • Sowing seeds

  • Transplanting

  • Maintaining raised field beds

  • Cultivation by hand

  • Trellising 

  • Harvesting by hand

  • Working Thursday night farmers market

  • Putting together wholesale orders

  • Possible wholesale delivery

  • Keeping tools clean

  • Maintaining a clean work environment

Requirements:

  • Self motivated

  • Ability to be flexible with your time and schedule

  • Hardworking and prepared to work in all weather conditions

  • Punctual

  • An interest in no-till/regenerative agriculture farming

  • Commitment to maintaining a high standard and putting your best foot forward everyday

  • Interest in small scale agriculture, natural resources, working outdoors, etc.

Part-time Farmhand

  • May through October

  • 3 days per week, flexible as to dates

  • Spring & Fall Hours: 10am-4pm, weather depending

  • Summer hours: 9am-5pm, weather depending

  • $15-$17/hr+

Part-time farmhands are expected to follow the plans set forth by the farm manager and to be efficient with their time. When the manager is unable to be on farm, part-time farmhands will follow the guidance of the full-time farmhands until the farm manager returns. This job is physically demanding and, as long as it’s safe, we work in all weather conditions. That being said, you’ll never be asked to do something that management isn’t willing to do themselves.
